The Lynch Wedding Reception
<> Saturday, March 26, 2011
After the outdoor wedding ceremony at the Nixon Library, the guests made their way indoors to the grand hall where the Lynch wedding reception was held. Nancy, Nicki & Jeni's friend, made the beautiful flower centerpieces and bouquets. After munching on appetizers, the guests were allowed into the main hall where there was an awesome live band playing. Immediately, Viv starting twirling in circles and dancing around on the dancefloor. She provided some of the entertainment judging by the guest's amusement!

The Lynch Wedding

Our family was honored when Jeni, my best friend's sister, asked mija to be her flower girl at her wedding to Vance. It was an outdoor ceremony held at the Richard Nixon Library at 4:30 p.m. The only concern we had was wether Viv would follow directions and not only walk down the aisle with her flower basket, but do so hand-in-hand with the ring bearer, Vance's nephew, Jack. We crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. Ben waited with her and Jack in the back corner and then he motioned them to walk down the aisle. At first, the flower girl and ring bearer walked straight down the back of where the guests were sitting; the wrong way, but then Ben turned them to face the altar and they both walked down the aisle with little V dropping handfuls of rose petals along the way. The guests were absolutely smitten and amused with how cute the mini couple looked and acted as they walked down the aisle. Vivi and Jack walked side-by-side and, as they approached the altar, little V led the way and walked straight to my best friend Nicki (the Maid of Honor) who had promised her candy. She continued with her flower girl duties by dropping handfuls of petals right on the altar, which amused the crowd even further. Finally, when Jeni and Vance reached the altar, little Viv came and sat with mommy and daddy. The wedding was gorgeous; the flowers and dresses were just beautiful in their shades of purples, blues and magentas and there was not a dry eye during the ceremony. The Lynch nuptuals were perfect!
